The Edward Hotel is very easy to get to from Paddington, and was perfect for an overnight business trip when I needed somewhere safe & quiet to stay, within easy reach of transport connections. I was at the back of the hotel, so it was very quiet. The staff were efficient & friendly, and the foyer area would have been a nice place to sit & work, if I'd needed to do that. Fast fuss-free wifi. Clean, everything worked, and a very comfortable bed. All in all, a bargain, and I'd happily stay there again when I need late-night or early morning access to Paddington station.

The hotel is an old building so previously it would’ve been someone mansion , it is close to restaurant that your beautiful Italian restaurant right across the road. There are lovely cafes just up the street. A few turn left from the hotel. The train station close you could throw a tennis ball to it. We really liked the hotel. The staff and lovely people always greeting us. Always happy always smiling and always willing to help us with any queries that we may have had. We really enjoyed our day and if we come back to London , we would definitely book there again.

Location was decent - bus stop & tube station close by to get anywhere and everywhere! Triple room was a good size for myself and the girls. Bathroom was small but the shower very spacious! Plenty of bathroom amenities left for us all. Beds were comfortable enough! Only 1 out of the 2 windows opened so it would have been nice for a bit more air in the room as we were quite lucky with the weather when we went. Staff were friendly and attentive from the beginning.

Hotel is located within a very short walk from Paddington station and several cafes. We also walked through Hyde Park to Buckingham palace and Knightsbridge and Harrods. We had a twin room on the first floor at the front of the building with a nice view of the trees. Hyat cafe nearby had lovely breakfasts.

Anne

excellent location to Paddington station, restaurants and shops. very friendly staff who explained how we could save money by taking the Elizabeth line to Heathrow instead of Heathrow Express. he also gave restaurant suggestions which were excellent! the lift was very helpful as was a/c
